Two seeds, explained
A seed from a squash and the tiny germ of a soybean. Here is what each one is.
From the squash, concentrated.
How it worksPumpkin seeds come from Cucurbita pepo, the squash species that includes pumpkins and courgettes. Ours is a 20:1 extract: 12,000mg of seed makes 600mg of extract.
The everyday context600mg pumpkin seed extract (20:1).
The smallest part of the bean.
How it worksThe germ, or hypocotyl, is the tiny part of the soybean (Glycine max) that would grow into the new plant. It holds a higher concentration of isoflavones than the rest of the bean. Our extract is standardised to 40% isoflavones.
The everyday context90mg soybean germ extract, providing 36mg isoflavones.
Plant compounds in soy.
How it worksIsoflavones such as genistein and daidzein are natural compounds found in soybeans and other legumes. They are part of everyday foods such as tofu, soy milk and edamame.
The everyday context36mg isoflavones from soy germ.
